I need to change the date/time for my Child's Primary or Secondary School Vaccinations. How Do I Do this?
There are two types of School Immunisations currently booked or available to book via Swiftqueue.
** Please check to see which category applies for your child **
1. The HSE booked the Immunisation appointment for your child. You received an SMS text with the details.
OR
2. You were asked to book the Immunisation appointment online via Swiftqueue website. You registered & chose your own date and time for the appointment.
1. If the HSE booked this appointment for your child, please read the information below.
- For some schools, the HSE books the Primary/Secondary School Immunisation appointment for your child and you receive an SMS text/ email with details of your child's appointment.
- These are NOT booked online via your online Swiftqueue portal as these are booked by the HSE directly.
- If your child attends one of these schools and is due their vaccination/immunisation, you will receive a letter and/or text from the HSE advising you of the date and time for the appointment.
- If you need to change the date/time please ring the HSE directly using the phone numbers provided in your letter/text and they will be able to help you.
- We cannot change the date/time for you online so all queries on this, should be redirected to the HSE using the specific phone numbers on the letter.
2. You were asked to book the Immunisation appointment online via Swiftqueue website.
- For other Schools/areas, the HSE are asking parents to book their Child's Immunisation appointment online via Swiftqueue website.
- If you booked this appointment online, you can cancel or reschedule the date online by logging onto your patient portal using this link https://www.swiftqueue.com/userlogin.php and click on the "Upcoming Appointments" button.
- You will then see an option to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- All available dates will show once you click the reschedule button.
- If there are no dates showing or you see a come back soon message, this usually indicates that the clinic is fully booked.
- Please note, these clinics usually only run for a very small number of days (eg weekend 2 day clinics), so there may not be any availability to change to.
- If there are no dates showing to change to, and you really cannot attend the appointment, please ring the HSE directly (General HSE contact us number & ask for the Schools Immunisation section)and they will be able to advise you on what you can do.
If you think your child is due this appointment, but you have not received an appointment, please contact the HSE directly for advice on this.
(Swiftqueue facilitate the appointment booking system for a number of schools only)
